Harbor Cruise, Taronga Zoo, and Meat Pie

So, of my quintessential Australia list (Harbor Bridge climb, Great Barrier Reef, Twelve Apostles, Koala Bear, Kangaroo, Tim-Tam and Meat pie) I've completed all except the Kangaroo and the Meat pie.

So off I went to Pie Face the meat pie stand.  Not bad, they are like chicken pot pie except they have like mince meat, or beef or thai chicken - all different flavors. Check!

Now, for a kangaroo.  I was hoping to see one on the Great Ocean Road like I did a koala but unfortunately the only one I saw was a dead one on the side of the road.  I decided road kill doesn't count and I want to see an actual live one. So, next stop Taronga Zoo.  I took the Harbor Cruise across Sydney Harbor - its raining today.

So, these kangaroos are lounging around, one is completely prone on its back - actually quite cute and they are alive so Check!
